About Durga Gurung (Milan)

Patron of the Milan Foundation Nepal (MFN) Mr. Durga Gurung (Milan) was born in 1967, Nov,18 in Bajung-6 Phalane (Gurung Village), Parbat District. His father's name is Mr. Nar Bahadur Gurung & Mother's name is Mrs. Sabitri Kumari Gurung.

From his teenage he was very interested to help the poor and needy people. He always believed that "SERVICE IS THE RELIGION" so he started doing social works through various government & non- government organizations. To fulfill an objective "sociaty can be changed through the social work" he established Milan Pustakalya in Surung Danda, Phoksingkot VDC, Palpa District. He and his organization has organized many Free Eye Health Camp in Parbat District in collaboration with Lions Club of Modi Kali Parbat.

He is an Ex-Nepal Army and currently living in Hong Kong since 1996.
